Travel conditions

1. Preliminary Provisions

In these travel conditions the following terms are understood:

Bonaire Paradise: the company that mediates between the tenant and the homeowner when concluding the rental agreement.

Office hours: 7 days a week from 9:00 AM to 10:00 PM

2. Reservation request

A reservation request is standardly taken into option for a maximum of two days. If no definitive reservation has been made within those two days, the landlord reserves the right to rent the house to another party.

3. Reservation

Your reservation request is final as soon as it has been confirmed to you in writing by email.

4. Payment

A deposit of 30% of the reservation sum is requested upon reservation. The remainder must be paid no later than 6 weeks before the start of your stay. When booking within the period of 6 weeks, the total reservation sum must be paid immediately.

5. Cancellation Policy

We always recommend that you take out travel insurance with your trusted insurance company.

If an agreement is canceled by the tenant, cancellation costs are due:

In case of cancellation +42 days (6+ weeks) before arrival: 15% of the rental amount.
Cancellation 28-42 days (4-6 weeks) before arrival: 30% of the rental amount.
In case of cancellation 8-27 days (1-4 weeks)  before arrival: 75% of the rental amount.
In case of cancellation 1-7 days (0-1 week) before arrival: 100% of the rental amount.
In case of cancellation on the day of arrival or no show: 100% of the rental amount.
The cancellation costs are calculated excluding final cleaning, linen service, deposit, high chairs and transfers.

6. Cancellation by landlord

In case of force majeure or unforeseen circumstances, the lessor can cancel the reservation. Unforeseen circumstances and force majeure include, but are not limited to: – that the house is no longer suitable for rental (for example: due to (natural) disasters) – that the house is no longer available (for example due to a sudden sale of the house by the landlord) or a double-placed reservation. In this case, the landlord will refund the rental costs already paid in full or in part without being liable to pay any compensation. The lessor is never liable for the costs of any services reserved by the (co-)tenant himself (for example: airline tickets, car rental, boat crossing, bus/train travel, etc.).

7. Liability

You stay in our house at your own risk, i.e. we, Bonaire Paradise, are in no way liable and cannot be held liable in any way for the damage and/or injury suffered by you in our house or on our premises, in any way whatsoever. shape whatsoever. In the event of damage to our property exceeding the amount of the deposit, the General Liability Act comes into effect and the damage can be handled through the Liability Insurance.

8. Use

You must leave the inventory of the house in the same condition as you found it at the time of your arrival. It is appreciated to report any (minor) damage immediately to the manager and Bonaire Paradise.

9. Deposit

At the moment you do not have to pay a deposit. Any damage can be charged to you up to 2 weeks after check-out. If you do not pay this compensation, any legal costs may be charged to you.

10. Pets and smoking

Pets are not allowed. It is also forbidden to smoke inside the house. For this we reserve the right to claim € 300 compensation.

11. Do not derive any rights

No rights can be derived in any way from the information, photos, images and links as stated on the website of Bonaire Paradise (www.bonairevillage.nl).
